Yūki Tabata’s Black Clover is on a roll since the second half of the Elf Resurrection arc, so much that it has become one of the most popular manga these days.
Recently, the manga has released 247 chapters and is exploring the Spade Kingdom arc.
1. Quick Highlight
The raw scans(spoilers) for chapter 248 of the Black Clover manga were released recently. The next chapter will be titled “Luck VS Svenkin,” The chapter will continue and end the battle between Luck Voltia and Svenkin, with the former being the winner.
2. Luck VS Svenkin!
After an epic clash between the juggernauts of both sides (Yami vs. Dante) in chapter 246, chapter 247, aptly titled “Battlefield: The Heart Kingdom,” shifts the focus to the battle at the Heart Kingdom.
In chapter 247, we saw Vanica’s invasion of the Heart Kingdom as her Dark Disciples annihilate the Spirit Guardians — the strongest warriors in the Heart Kingdom.
A ray of hope arrives in the form of the Clover Kingdom Magic Knight, as Luck Voltia clashes against Vanica’s favorite dark disciple — Svenkin.
The hope, however, was pretty short-lived as even the ever-fighting lightning boy, Luck Voltia, was unable to defeat Svenkin’s seemingly invulnerable skin magic. This begged us to ask, but two questions — How Strong Is The Dark Disciple Who Beat Luck Voltia? Is Luck Only Stage One?
3. How did Luck win? – Chapter 248 Spoilers
As theorized in my previous article, the true strength of Luck after training with Gaja was nowhere near what chapter 247 showed us.
While we don’t have the exact English translation as of yet, we have some of the spoilers in chapter 248, titled “Luck VS Svenkin.”
It starts with Luck remembering about his training with Gaja about the rune spells and TRUE LIGHTNING MAGIC.
After the flashback, Luck charges towards Svenkin, and above all, ods(as per ch. 247) manages to land a kick on the dark disciple.
Unfazed by the lightning kick, Svenkin tries to grabs Luck, while the latter escapes easily.
Luck bumps up his speed and the number of rune-like spells (kind of like the fight between elf Luck and Magna, but faster!) and manages to kick Svenking right in the gut.
Svenkin escapes to the roof of a nearby building and begins to amp up his devil power to defeat Luck. Luck being Luck creates a five-layered rune spell in the air, dashes off, and uses True Lightning Magic, “Keraunus Raitei” thereby defeating Svenkin for good!
4. About Black Clover
Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16th, 2015, and has been collected into 22 tankōbon volumes.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
