Oh my God, or as Lucifer would say, “Oh my me!” — Lucifer’s final season trailer is out. It’s got the apocalypse, a new villain and a Looney Tunes-styled animated episode. Yup, that last one we really didn’t see coming.
Lucifer is still having trouble adjusting to his new throne and It’s obvious that all hell will break loose while God is in therapy. What exactly does that look like? Watch the full-length trailer here:
While Season 5’s showdown with Michael was not exactly guns blazing, it was filled with drama and mayhem that will pour into the new season.
Heaven’s new boss won’t be the only one ruffling feathers, as the trailer also features Deadpool’s Brianna Hildebrand as Rory. The angel, at one point of time, looked up to Lucifer for his rebellious ways. Hearing her ask, “Wanna help me destroy Lucifer Morningstar?” makes us think she’s reconsidered her stance. That, and seeing her on Hell’s throne.
And clearly, it’s not just Heaven and Hell that have demanded a reckoning. Earth has its own date with the apocalypse too!
Lucifer was resurrected on Netflix after Fox dropped it following its third season. Last year, it was believed that Season 5 would be our last dance with the devil. In fact, Lucifer finally becoming worthy of being God came a good full circle, an ending with a bow on the top.
But as the writers’ room tells us, the final season will explore what comes after happily ever after.
If asked, “What’s your deepest, darkest desire?” I’d say a never-ending run of Lucifer. But we’re going to have to make our peace with ten final episodes of devilish charm, chaos, song and some good ole murder.
Lucifer’s final season will premiere on Netflix on September 10.

Lucifer is an American urban fantasy drama series created by Tom Kapinos. It is based on the DC Comics character from The Sandman, created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg. Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Entertainment produce the series.
Originally premiered in 2016, Lucifer was picked up by Netflix when Fox canceled the show after three seasons. Lucifer is set to end with Season 6, which is rumored to air early in 2022.
The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles, where he runs his own nightclub named ‘LUX’ and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. All the while working on his character development to be a better Devil/Angel.
The latest season featured the retirement of God, a lot of broken hearts and mending relationships, ambitious Angels, and the Devil taking it upon himself to right the wrongs of his dear ol’ dad, God.
