3. Episode 2 Recap
Yamada clears Akane’s misunderstanding that they had a one-night stand by explaining he simply washed the clothes she threw up on. Yamada looks after her, but Akane loses her necklace, which Takuma gave her.
Yamada later confronts her in the guild hall, where he treats her coldly and chastises her for using the guild storage space. Akane, on the other hand, finds solace in the kind guild master, Ruri.
Akane decides to leave the game, and Yamada later finds her lost necklace but steps on it by accident. Akane runs into Yamada again at the train station, and he attempts to return her broken necklace. She is taken aback to learn that he is in high school.
Later, when the rain starts to fall, Yamada offers Akane his umbrella, insisting that she keep it, and runs off without one as she blushes, initiating a soft spark of romance between them.
As Akane lies in bed and thinks of the necklace her ex-boyfriend gave her and the umbrella Yamada gave her, her thoughts are interrupted when she receives a delivery of numerous packages from her mother.
These packages contain all her old things, and with Momo’s help, she can discard some of her precious old objects, including the necklace, and thinks of what Yamada explained about the storage space in the guild hall of the game.
Momo and Akane head to a barbecue and get drunk – which eventually causes them to head to Yamada’s place so Akane can return his umbrella. Though initially annoyed by their presence, he softens when Akane smiles, thanks him for the event day, and asks her to log in to the game again.

The story follows Akane, who gets cheated on by her boyfriend and is about to quit the game they used to play together. She encounters Yamada in the game who is a legend and falls in love with him. However, Yamada is only interested in the game and is inexperienced when it comes to romance, which results in Akane trying to get the gaming legend fall for her.
