The official website and Twitter account for the forthcoming romance anime My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 released a second promotional video that provides a glimpse into the series and character profiles of the protagonists.
The video introduces two new cast members, Natsuki Hanae and Ai Kakuma, who will play the roles of siblings Eita and Runa Sasaki, respectively.
The previously announced staff for the anime includes Kouki Uchiyama, best known for his role as Tsukishima in Haikyuu!!, as Akito Yamada and Inori Minase voices the character Akane Kinoshita.
The anime also released a Valentine’s Day special key visual featuring protagonist Akito Yamada eating a cookie with Akane’s face on it.
The anime, which is an adaptation of Mashiro’s manga Loving Yamada at Lv999!, is about a girl named Akane who was recently dumped and is about to quit the game she used to often play with her ex-boyfriend.
However, she meets then meets Yamada while playing the RPG, and is smitten by this alluring man. Yamada turns out to be immensely talented and charming, but the only problem is that his only interest is the game.
The story follows Akane as her feelings for Yamada grow while he remains oblivious to how she feels.
The television anime adaptation of the manga was first announced at the Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event in September of last year, and Morio Asaka will be directing it at Madhouse, alongside series composition writer Yasuhiro Nakanishi. Kunihiko Hamada will provide the character designs for the series.
Mito from the immensely popular pop group Clammbon, and DE DE MOUSE will compose the music for the series.

My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 is an upcoming romcom manga based on Mashiro’s popular manga series ‘Loving Yamada at Lv999.’
The story follows Akane, who gets cheated on by her boyfriend and is about to quit the game they used to play together. She encounters Yamada in the game who is a legend and falls in love with him. However, Yamada is only interested in the game and is inexperienced when it comes to romance, which results in Akane trying to get the gaming legend fall for her.
