The Love Live! franchise has given us superb idol anime, one after another. Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is one of the best additions to it, and now, the series is set to receive a second season.
With a second season, double the amount of singing and dancing is guaranteed. The lives of these teenagers are about to take a turn as their idol club will keep growing in popularity.
Season 2 of the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime will be released on April 2, 2022. The series is licensed by Funimation.

The video previews some of the stages of the budding school idols. These girls have to balance academics and idol-work in their school, and I think that’s already commendable.
A new character was also revealed who will join the pre-existing ones. The new character is a transfer student from Hong Kong.

Season 1 had ended on a cliffhanger as Yu had just sat down to take an exam. On the other hand, the entire Nijigasaki High School Idol Club will perform in the school idol festivities.
