One Piece has been putting out content for over 20 years now. In this duration, the series has amassed a large number of locations and characters, establishing a whole world of One Piece.
Other than the main storyline in the chapters, the One Piece storyline also progresses through cover page stories. These cover pages let the readers know about important events happening around the world.
“Gang” Bege’s Oh My Family is the most recent cover page story which started back on the cover of chapter 948. The cover story seems to be coming to a conclusion as a major event happens – Chiffon and Lola are finally reunited with the help of Capone Bege.
Lola was introduced to the Strawhats early on in the story during Thriller Bark. She was the one leading a small group of people whose shadows had been stolen by Gekko Moria, and they had nowhere else to go.
After the Strawhats defeated Moria and helped them get the shadows back, Lola mentioned that her mother was an influential pirate in the New World and gave Nami a Vivre Card, which pointed to her mother.
It turned out that the mother was none other than Yonko Big Mom! Lola had run away at an early age because Big Mom wanted to marry her off to a giant to score the support of the giants.
Thanks to Lola’s gift of the Vivre Card, the Strawhats were able to manipulate forest creatures in Whole Cake Island, which helped them to make it out alive.
It was revealed that Chiffon, Lola’s twin sister, was married to Capone Bege, one of the Supernova. At the end of Whole Cake Island, Chiffon escaped with the Firetank Pirates and went out on a search for her sister. Bege, being a great husband, took on the task of reuniting the sisters and thus began the cover story in chapter 948.
Chapter 977’s cover continues the Gang Bege’s OH MY FAMILY cover story, we see Lola and Chiffon reuniting which makes it clear that the perspective switched in chapter 966 where Lola (assumed to be Chiffon) is arrested by the Marines for being Bege’s wife.

The man who had acquired everything in this world, the Pirate King, is Gol D. Roger. The final words he said at the execution tower were “My treasures? If you want it, I’ll let you have it. Look for it; I left all of it at that place.”
These words sent many to the seas, chasing their dreams, headed toward the Grand Line, in search of One Piece. Thus began a new age!
Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy also heads toward the Grand Line in search of One Piece. With his diverse crew joining him along the way, consisting of a swordsman, marksman, navigator, cook, doctor, archaeologist, and cyborg-shipwright, this will be one memorable adventure.
