The God of Mischief is back and slipping and sliding through the timelines and dimensions of TVA from the word go!
After being kicked through a time door by Sylvie, Loki finds himself in a different version of the TVA, where Kang the Conqueror is the supreme ruler, and no one recognizes him. He also discovers that he is slipping back and forth through time, witnessing different eras of the TVA and its history.
In the final moments of the episode, he realizes that he had to prune himself at the exact moment that Mobius activates a Temporal Aura Extractor, a device that can stop his time-slipping and restore his original timeline. But what will happen next? Here are some of my predictions for Loki season 2 episode 2:
1. Episode 2 Synopsis/Speculation
I. Loki will survive his self-pruning but end up in another timeline.
Of course, Loki won’t die so soon after his return, especially since he is the show’s main protagonist. However, the solution to his problems will surely not be as simple as self-pruning.
Instead, I think he will end up in another timeline, where he will face variants and possibly new villains. Perhaps he will encounter another version of himself, another variant of Kang, or even some familiar faces from his past.
II. Sylvie will Try to Find Loki and Help Him
Sylvie may have betrayed Loki in the season 1 finale, but I don’t think she has completely given up on him. After all, they shared a connection unlike any other.
I think Sylvie will try to track down Loki and help him escape Kang’s clutches. She may also have some information or clues about how to stop Kang and restore the Sacred Timeline.
III. Mobius will Realize Something is Wrong with The TVA and Join Forces With B-15
Mobius may not remember Loki in the season 2 premiere, but he will soon notice that something is off with the TVA and its new leader. He may start questioning Kang’s motives and methods and discover some of the secrets and lies he has been hiding. He may also reconnect with B-15, who has become a rebel and a leader among the variants who want to free themselves from the TVA’s control.
Together, they may try to expose Kang and help Loki and Sylvie.
IV. Kang will Reveal His Master Plan and Unleash His Wrath on Loki And Sylvie
Kang is not someone who likes to be challenged or opposed, especially by two pesky Lokis who have caused him so much trouble. In the next episode, Kang will reveal his master plan and why he has taken over the TVA and manipulated the timelines.
He may also unleash his wrath on Loki and Sylvie and send his army of hunters and agents after them. We’ll surely see more variants of himself and other past or new MCU villains.
2. Episode 2 Release Date
Season 2 Episode 2 of Loki will be available on Disney Plus on October 13, 2023.
3. Is the series on a break?
No, Loki is not on a break and will continue according to schedule.

5. Where to Watch Loki
6. Loki Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
Loki is back, but not where he expected to be. After being kicked through a time door by Sylvie, he finds himself in a TVA ruled by Kang the Conqueror, who has replaced the Time-Keepers as the supreme authority.
To make matters worse, Loki starts to slip through time, jumping from the past to the future and back again, without any control over his movements.
He discovers that he is not in a different timeline but in the same one that Kang’s influence has altered. He sees how Kang and Ravonna Renslayer were once partners in creating and maintaining the TVA and betrayed each other when Kang decided to prune all the other versions of himself.
Loki realizes that he has to stop his time-slipping before he causes more damage to the timeline. He learns that he can only do that by pruning himself at the exact moment when Mobius activates a Temporal Aura Extractor, a device that can detect and remove any temporal anomalies. Loki manages to do that, but not before leaving a message for Mobius on a piece of paper, telling him to find Sylvie and help her stop Kang.
Loki wakes up in a mysterious place, surrounded by other variants of himself. He sees a familiar face among them: Kid Loki, last seen in season 1. Kid Loki tells him they are in Limbo, where all the pruned variants end up. He also tells him that they plan to escape from Limbo and defeat Kang once and for all.
The episode ends with Loki joining forces with his fellow variants, ready for the next adventure.
7. About Loki
Loki is an American TV series created by Michael Waldron for Disney+ and Marvel. It is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with events of the series taking place after Avengers: Endgame.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki along side new faces like Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, Eugene Cordero and Erika Coleman.
After stealing the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame, Loki is apprehended by the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA) and their Time-Keepers. Loki is given a choice between fixing all the timelines he broke with the Tesseract and death at the hands of the TVA.
