The finale of Season 2 was one of the most indefinite anime finales of all time. Nobody expected a hiatus to happen. Nevertheless, 2020 worked its charm yet again.
Officially renewed, the long-awaited Season 3 of Log Horizon is set to premiere on January 13, 2021.
Log Horizon is a Japanese manga series written by Mamare Touno who is also known for writing Archenemy and Hero.
The story is about Shiroe, an awkward college student who stumbles into the virtual world of Elder Tale after an unfortunate game update.
The official website of Log Horizon announced the addition of two more cast members for Season 3, along with a cast and key visual on Monday. Funimation also tweeted earlier about the new additions to the cast.
The key visual predominantly features the Mofur Sisters, Lelia and Ritoka along with the main characters.
A cast visual was also released featuring the Mofur Sisters with their voice actors.
Manaka Iwami will be voicing Lelia Mofur while Ritoka Mofur will be voiced by Nanami Yamashita.

Season 3 is named after the title of Volume 12 of the web novel series, Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table.
Though the plot of the third season is not confirmed at this point, the 12-episode series is expected to cover volumes 11-13.

Log Horizon is a Japanese novel series written by Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara.
It began serialization online in 2010 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō, being later on acquired by Enterbrain and published as a light novel in Japan since 2011.
The plot is set in a massively multiplayer online role-playing game called Elder Tale.
During the release of the game’s twelfth expansion pack, thirty thousand Japanese gamers were transported to a virtual reality world as their respective characters.
With no way out, Shiroe and his friends team up to form a guild called “Log Horizon” to survive in this challenging world.
