Genshin Impact is heating up as we approach the upcoming patch. Version 5.3 promises to be an exciting journey filled with rewards as the game celebrates the Lantern Rite, also known as the Chinese New Year.
Additionally, this update will introduce new characters, including the fan-favorite Archon Mauvika. We will also see the Chronicled Wish Banner. There is much to look forward to, so let’s dive in!
The upcoming banners in Genshin Impact 5.3 are-
- Phase 1- Mavuika and Citlali Banner
- Phase 2- Arlecchino and Clorinde Banner
- Weapon Banners
- Chronicled Wish Banner Liyue
This information was shared during the official Genshin Impact Version 5.3 livestream on December 20, 2024. In addition to the character banners, the livestream also announced upcoming events and the distribution of free primogems.
1Phase 1- Mavuika and Citlali Banner
Phase 1 of the 5.3 Banner will introduce two new characters: Mavuika, a 5-Star Pyro claymore-user, and the Pyro Archon of Natlan. She will be featured on the Ancient Flame Ablaze Banner.
On the other hand, we have Citlali, a new 5-Star Cryo catalyst user; to be featured on Starry Night’s Whispers Banner.
Both banners will run alongside each other from January 1 to January 21, 2025.
2Phase 2- Arlecchino and Clorinde Banner
Phase 2 of the 5.3 Banner will feature the returning characters Clorinde and Arlecchino. Clorinde is a 5-star Electro sword user and will be highlighted in her Illuminating Lightning Banner. Arlecchino, a 5-star Pyro polearm user, will be featured in her The Hearth’s Ashen Shadow Banner.
Lan Yan is a new character making her debut as one of the featured 4-star characters in the banners for Arlecchino and Clorinde.
Both banners will run concurrently from January 21 to February 11, 2025.
3New Weapon Banners
Phase 1 of the 5.3 Weapon banner will introduce two new 5-Star weapons: A Thousand Blazing Suns (claymore), Mavuika’s signature weapon, and the Starcaller’s Watch (catalyst), Citlali’s signature weapon.
Phase 2 will feature the signature weapons of Arlecchino and Clorinde, which are Crimson Moon’s Semblance and Absolution, respectively.
4Chronicled Wish Banner Liyue
Finally, we will get a Chronicle Wish Banner, but this time, it will feature Liyue characters. The following Liyue characters will be featured-
- Baizhu
- Shenhe
- Keqing
- Ganyu
- Xiao
- Tartaglia (Childe)
- Qiqi
Alongside the above characters, the following 5-star weapons will also be available-
- Primordial Jade Cutter (sword)
- Summit Shaper (sword)
- The Unforged (claymore)
- Calamity Queller (polearm)
- Primordial Jade Winged-Spear (polearm)
- Jadefall’s Splendor (catalyst)
- Memory of Dust (catalyst)
- Polar Star (bow)
- Amos’ Bow (bow)
