Dahyun ends up telling Gyehoon about the house where her and his sister were held captive by the killer. He visits the location and breaks down when he sees the sticker he gave his sister the day she disappeared.

He speaks to the new tenants of the house but he claims not to remember anything. What are the occupants of the house hiding? Did they know about the kidnappings?

Dahyun revisits the house with the red door and her traumatic memories come flooding back. She remembers being a victim of kidnapping, just like Gyeyoung. However, Dahyun was the only one who managed to escape, leaving Gyeyoung behind. She breaks down crying at this realization and gets overwhelmed with survivor’s guilt.

Meanwhile, Gyehoon gets attacked by a man who sneaks up on him from behind and renders him unconscious. Dahyun’s link is stronger now, and she immediately senses that Gyehoon is in danger and frantically calls him.

Gyehoon picks up the call, but doesn’t tell her what happened just yet and tells her to go home instead. He then tells the police about his encounter and that he’s certain it was the killer who attacked him.

Dahyun runs into Gyehoon and hugs him. They go to the restaurant and she asks him about the bruise on his neck. Dahyun tries to get him to tell her the truth but Gyehoon tells her he’s tired and they should talk tomorrow. The next day, Gyehoon finds out that Jingeun is missing. Eventually, his body is found in the crime scene fridge.
