Eimeji Academy prepares for the Inter-Academy Battle in episode 7 of Liar, Liar, titled “Silence and Change.”

Shinohara and Noa have been crowned the top two survivors of the All-Academy Elimination battle. Although Noa tries to forfeit the final match, Shinohara beats her to the punch. He withdraws from the tournament to protect her reputation and avoid another game.

The principal puts the two of them on the Academy team for the final competition. Shinohara struggles to keep up his façade but still brags confidently about his status.

Shinohara and Shinji are fighting over the Commander’s role in the Inter-Academy Battle. As a result, he will have to undergo a test to prove his skills. Shinohara will have to take down three other Commanders by the end of the week.

Moreover, a third Sarasa has appeared and will threaten Saionji’s reputation. Shinohara will likely try to help her first, confront the fake Saionji, and expose her in a game. He can take out two birds with one stone if she’s a commander.

Noa confronts the mastermind who controlled her from behind the scenes, the headmaster of Seijo Academy. Shinohara backs her up along with the support of hundreds of students and exposes him to the world.

The following day, the principal announces the All-Campus Elimination Battle’s results. Shinohara and Noa are the two final survivors of the competition and will go against each other in the final round. Noa interrupts her and says that she has no intention of battling Hiroto.

Before she can withdraw, Shinohara announces his withdrawal to protect Noa’s reputation. Saionji and Shinohara visit a secret bike store to meet with the seller. The store has a couples-only policy, so they put up an act.

Himeji is annoyed that the two of them went together without inviting her. She forces them to go on a bathing trip with her and shows off her collection of swimsuits. The following day, Noa runs into Shinohara and catches up on everything that happened after the event.

They meet with the other Inter-Academy Battle members to discuss strategy with Himeji. She explains the ten periods of the game and the layout of the battlefield. The rules follow a typical capture-the-flag mode, where teams must capture bases.

The game also applies a movement rating to everybody, depending on their skills and history. Shinohara has a meager rating, but Himeji manipulates the display to fake it. Shinji tries to take the initiative as the team leader, but everybody begins fighting for the role.
