A Demon Lord returns to take revenge on his nemesis, only to find himself disappointed. ‘Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero’ is a comic take on the Demon Lord’s unfinished business with the hero, which would only work when the latter returns to his prime.
So, it is up to the Demon Lord to get his enemy back, leading to an unlikely alliance. Only time will tell how long that will last and if his efforts will bring results.
On Friday, the official website for the ‘Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero’ anime released a new promo and visual. The video previews the ending theme song for the anime and unveils the release date of July 3. It will also stream on HIDIVE.
The video starts with Max, the hero, in his room when the Demon Lord arrives with groceries. Zenia, the demon secretary, also joins them. Later, Fred, the monk, and Leo, the warrior, are shown fighting each other. They are also allies to Max, who tries to stop them from fighting.
Nenne has performed the ending song “Mirai=Teleport” in the background. The opening song was also previously revealed, which is “One Room Adventure” by MADKID.
The visual below also shows the moment from the video where Max arrives to intervene Fred and Leo’s fight.

The overall theme of a ‘Demon Leader allying with a hero to fight him again’ sounds too familiar. However, the part where Max’s former allies are fighting is something different. The animation and the designs are good, so this seems a worthy comedy series.

Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero is a Japanese manga story written and drawn by toufu. It has been published on Houbunsha’s Comic Fuz website since March 2019.
Max defeated the Demon Lord ten years ago. The Demon King entered into a long slumber in order to reclaim his power, but when he wakes, his body is only a chibi version of its fearsome shape.
The Demon Lord decides to pay a call to Max to see what his foe is up to, only to find the powerful hero living in a filthy one-room apartment. Then the Demon Lord decides to help Max to regain his power and the man he once was.
