Finally, the release date for The Siege of Paris, the second major DLC for Assasin’s Creed Valhalla, is close at hand. Before its 12th August release day, developer Ubisoft has revealed the release times for the new DLC.
Naturally, these launch times are dependent on your location and your choice of platform. So, you might get to play the DLC before many others.
Those who purchased Valhalla’s Season Pass on Xbox and PC will get to access the DLC a few hours early. However, for reasons unknown, players on PlayStation will not get early access irrespective of their Season Pass purchase.
While Wrath of the Druids took players to the shores of Ireland to deal with a shady cult, the Siege of Paris will take players to the kingdom of West Francia. Here, Vikings will be tasked with preventing Charles from getting his tyrannical grasp around England.
Rumors have indicated that, in addition to Paris, players will also get to visit several small villages in Normandy. These very same rumors also claim that the expansion will take place in 885 AD, several years after the events of AC Valhalla between 872 and 878 AD.
While Title Update 1.3.0 added support for the DLC to AC Valhalla, fans will still have to download Siege of Paris game files separately.
How much space these files will take up is unknown, but Wrath of the Druids came in at around 12 GB, so expect something around that figure.
The Siege of Paris can be purchased as a part of AC Valhalla’s Season Pass or as a standalone expansion to the base game.
