In September, KOEI Tecmo Games announced that a Fairy Tail anime-inspired role-playing game for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam is planned for 2020. Although KOEI Tecmo Games did release an English trailer for the same, the plans to include an English dub in the game itself are still unclear. The game is set to launch for Switch on March 20, 2020.
In a recent interview with Nintendo Everything, Producer Keisuke Kikuchi said that the Fairy Tail RPG Game will be fully playable with English subtitles but there are no plans to include dubs as of now.
Manga creator Hiro Mashima is supervising the game development while KOEI Tecmo Games’ GUST Studios is responsible for production. The final anime season based on the original manga premiered in Japan on October 7 and ended with episode 328. Crunchyroll and Funimation are streaming the anime with English subtitles while Funimation provided English dubs.
