The period comedy, Yankee Mito Komon’s manga artist Hiroto Wada recently passed away due to cerebral hemorrhage. It was one of the most despairing news last month.
Before the tragic incident, the late mangaka was working on his third and the most recent manga, Yankee Mito Komon which he had completed.
Even though he had concluded the 10th which was the last chapter, it didn’t get published.
The publishing company, Kodansha, will publish the 10th and final chapter of Yankee Mito Komon manga on August 10, 2021.
The Kodansha Evening magazine was in extreme shock when they learned the news of the mangaka passing away. After three days of the tragic event, that is on July 21, 2021, the first volume of his work was shipped.
The publishing house approached Hiroto’s family and after consulting them made the decision to publish the final chapter on August 10, 2021.
It will be made available in the 17th issue of the Kodansha Evening Magazine.
The artist created three manga which were highly praised by his fans.
Like his previous works, Phara-o (which revolves around a pharaoh who gets relocated in Tokyo) and Stitch and the Samurai (derived from the alien protagonist in Disney’s Lilo and Stitch), Hiroto Wada made sure that your belly would ache after each chapter of Yankee Mito Komon. So, if you’ve been eager to read the complete series, you won’t have to wait long.
