In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki Ep 11: Release Date and Speculation

Episode 11 of “In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki”, introduces us to Team Rat while teaching us that Impostor Syndrome is indeed a very real thing.

Tachiaoi, the leader of Team Rat is dissatisfied with her way of leadership and tries to emulate the one and only Tsubaki. However, her imitation does little help and lands the team in a situation that forces them to come together and sort things out.

On the other side of the village, Tsubaki has come down with a cold, but there is no medicine to help her out this time. Therefore, Benisumomo races Sazanka and Asagao over to the mountain to collect the herbs with the goal of having Tsubaki indebted to her. The race is completed, the herbs are fetched, and  Tsubaki is cured, but at what cost?

Episode 11 Speculations

The titles for the skits for the next episode clearly hint that there might just be something to do with Team Horse and their self-obsessed leader Hinagiku.

The first skit being, titled “Attractiveness Jutsu,” although sounding fairly straightforward, might take us for a loop. The episode could be centered around a fantastical Jutsu rumored to make people attractive.

The second one is called “I want to be Attractive”. Here, we might just come across a young and distressed member of the Akane Class who wishes to be conventionally attractive and seeks Hinagiku’s help with it. Knowing Hinagiku, I doubt she would be of much help, but it might make for some mindless entertainment. 

Episode 11 Release Date

Episode 11 of the In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki anime, titled “Attractiveness Jutsu”, has been released on Saturday, Jun 18, 2022.

Episode 11 of will be released on Saturday, June 18, 2022. This anime runs on a weekly schedule. New episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 10 Recap

The first skit of the tenth episode introduces us to Team Rat. Tachiaoi, who has always felt inadequate as their leader, is feeling it even more today. She feels that she is unable to suggest anything original and just goes along with what the two of her teammates suggest.

When Higuruma and Hagi suggest they go look for food, she agrees, all the while, her insecurities keep eating away at her. On their way, they encounter team Dog with Tsubaki as their leader. Tachiaoi observes how Tsubaki does things and wishes to emulate them.

Taken by this new method of exercising her leadership, she stops Hagi and Higuruma dead in their tracks and takes them for a form of training they were apparently too underprepared for. Not losing hope, she takes them for a different training only to forget that it would rain and get drenched and stranded in a cave.

Sitting in that cave, Tachiaoi feels guilty for getting them in that situation and apologizes by telling them why it all happened. Hagi and Huguruma agree with her weaknesses but tell her that she is a good leader, and they follow her because they believe in her with all their hearts.

That was what Tachaoi wanted to hear for the longest time. It gives her the courage to believe in herself and do things her way.

The second skit brings us to Team Dog’s quarters, where Tsubaki is down with a cold. Mokuren is summoned, but her Jutsu is ineffective on cold moreover, she just ran out of the herbs used to cure it.

Benisumomo, who was listening to this entire conversation, offers to help fetch them in hopes of having Tsubaki be indebted to her. Sazanka and Asagao do not take kindly to that proposition and decide to race her to the cave where the herbs grew.

Upon getting there, Benisumomo discovers that the opening had collapsed shut. Sazanka and Asagao are forced to call a temporary truce with her to dig a way in. A small opening is created through which only Sazanka is able to fit and fetch the herbs.

Sazanka goes ahead and gets the herbs but is afraid that Benisumomo might steal them off her, so she challenges her to a duel. Beni simply concedes since Sazanka had done all the work but binds Asagao and her the moment she comes out.

Shamefully defeated, they go back and deliver the package to Tsubaki and Mokuren. It is then that Sazanka reveals that she was the one who had the herbs all along. Beni had been successfully fooled, and Tsubaki would not have to be indebted to anyone.

Surprisingly enough, Tsubaki tells everyone that Beni was aware of it all from the very beginning and just played along to simply escort Sazanka and Asagao over to the mountain.
