Shun overwhelms Hugo easily in their fight. Hugo asks Sophia to kill them all. However,  Sophia doesn’t help him.

Merazophis, commander of the fourth Demon army force, shows up. He mentions that his demons have attacked the Elves’ town.

Hugo is agitated by the fact that he was being controlled all this time.  When he tries to retaliate, he is taken out by Merazophis.

Shun assaults Sophia with the help of his comrades, yet they are being overwhelmed. Sophia reveals that they are still alive just because her master ordered her not to kill any reincarnations to add salt to their wounds.

Fei steps in and offers to give up for everyone’s benefit if Sophia allows them to live, making Shun acknowledge that he nearly got his companions killed over pride.

Merazophis leaves to order the army, and Shun demands proceeding with the battle since Julius would do the same thing.

Wrath, another reincarnation known as Kyouya Sasajima, is presently an administrator of the Eighth Demon army. He shows up with reinforcements.

However, Elven soldiers suggest to Shun that he should leave to battle the Demon Lord.

The episode ends with the Elves releasing The Gloria units, which show up and fire rockets at Sophia and Wrath. Meanwhile, Ariel approaches the town with the woman who killed Julius.
