Kubo is scared to ask if she can visit him and hesitates to text him as she can’t figure out what to say. Seita grabs his phone and sends an embarrassing “I Miss You” sticker, and Kubo lies and sends one back, blaming her sister.
The next day, Shiraishi makes it to class late and waits outside the classroom, but Kubo notices him. She seems a bit dizzy and feverish, and she walks to the nurse’s office as Shiraishi contemplates going with her.
She leans on him as they walk into the infirmary together and gets her laid down, and she immediately falls asleep. Shiraishi realizes that today, he feels like a main character for once.
