Episode 2 Speculation
Shiraishi has agreed to hang out with Kubo again, so we can likely see more scenes outside the classroom setting similar to the one at the park bench. It is also likely that Kubo will dare Shiraishi to do more things that make him stand out.
However, Shiraishi won’t go for everything she says, as he still has some sense of shame and gets embarrassed quickly; however, he is falling for her as we speak, so things may still be in the realm of possibility.

Recap of Episode 1
The episode starts off pathetic as Shiraishi talks about his experiences of being completely invisible to everyone in school, even being ignored in the school picture. The only one who notices him is Kubo, his classmate.
Kubo notices him googling how to blend into the class like a background character. She dares him to stand up in the middle of the course and see if he would be noticed. He stands all the way up on the chair and poses before being caught.
She teases him a bit, and the experience shakes him. As Kubo walks with her girlfriends back home, she learns that everyone else finds him very invisible, to the point of being a lucky charm if spotted.
The next day Kubo arrives grumpy to class, and Shiraishi offers her some milk to cure her grumpiness. She punches him for not figuring out the reason for her anger, and she proceeds to sit on his lap and dares him to make a noise and see if people notice him.
He thinks she considers him a pet and is toying with her, but she can’t stop playing along. She decides to raise her hand when the teacher asks a question and immediately says she doesn’t know but that Shiraishi would.
He becomes noticed by anyone because of this act, and she gives him the answer, too, thus helping him stand out. She gets called to answer again, and this time Shiraishi helps her by giving her the answer.
Shiraishi goes back home and is excited about the game’s release the next day. Kubo finds him on a park bench, and she makes some quick conversation and takes a picture, but her camera doesn’t recognize his face.
She asks for his Pine, a messenger app, and they exchange contact information and part ways. Back home, she invites him to hang out yet another day. He replies with an “All Right,” making her happier.
