Megumin goes to Arcanretia  in episode 7 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! titled “Troublemakers of the City of Water.”

It was a hilarious episode that was random most of the time. Megumin meets some new characters who are associated with some church and wastes most of the episode trying to get some followers for them.

She did get a little information about the woman she was out to find. Yunyun also showed up there, and by the end of the episode, we finally got something interesting to look forward to.

Megumin and Yunyun will get in trouble in episode 8 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! Titled “Fanatics of the Water City.”

Well, the conspiracy thing is pretty interesting, but only if they choose to make it something serious that connects to the main plot of the anime. Yunyun doesn’t want to be in all the trouble, but it seems like she will have to endure it.

Arnes will show up as well, making the situation messier. She is after Chomusuke and won’t leave till she gets her hands on her master.

3. Episode 7 Recap

Megumin arrives at Arcanretia, the city of water. However, she can’t accept quests there because she is a rookie. She gets a job at a restaurant but gets fired immediately.

She finds Yunyun in the city talking to some girls who are associated with Axis Church. She decides not to rely on her and move on her own. She hears some girl shouting and rushes for her rescue. Some priests surrounded the girl.

The girl escapes with Megumin’s help, and it turns out that she is an Axix cultist who defaced the portrait of Lady Eris that was hung in the priests’ church. 

She takes Megumin and runs away. She tries to make her join the Axis cult, but Megumin refuses. 

The girl’s name is Cecily, and she is a priest with the Religious Order of Axis. Since Megumin has no money, Cecily convinces her to join her for some lunch. Megumin goes to her church. 

She is offered some tasty food there and meets arch-priest Father Zesta. Zesta is worried about the low conversion rate because of the Eris sect. Megumin offers to help. 

She tells Zesta a weird plan that he absolutely loves. However, their plan doesn’t work, and she ends up getting caught by a police officer. After Zesta treats her with some meat, she is ready to help him. 

However, this time, she trips in front of none other than Yunyun, who rolls her around the street and asks her what she is doing. She meets Zesta and learns the truth. 

When they reach the church, some soldiers are present there to arrest Zesta with treason conspiracy charges. They take him away. Yunyun tells the others that she was the one who brought the letter about the conspiracy from Crisom Demon village.

KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! is a spinoff light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. The series was launched in July 2014 and ended in June 2015. It has also inspired several manga series.

The story follows the character Megumin from the original KonoSuba series who only knows Explosion Magic. She decides to hone her only skill and become the greatest magician.
