KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! Ep 3: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Megumin gets a new pet in episode 2 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo!, titled “The Magic Academy’s Taboo.”

It was a somewhat funny but highly random episode. It didn’t have any plot to follow and was just dealing with something we forget when the episode ends. 

Megumin and Yunyun went to buy some ornaments and Yunyun fell in love with a dagger. Their bond is one of the only best things in the anime and I hope to see more of it in the upcoming episode.

1. Episode 3 Speculations

Bukkorori will cause trouble to Megumin in episode 3 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! Titled “Guardians of the Crimson Demon Village.”

We will learn more about Bukokkorori in the next episode. We will also get introduced to a new character whose name is Sokketo. This girl was mentioned in the episode, but now we will have an entire episode focused on them.

I do hope the anime focuses more on the main plot i.e. Megumin trying to learn more about the explosion magic, rather than just some useless side stories no one cares about.

Episode 3 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! will be released on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Wednesday.

3. Episode 2 Recap

Megumin and Yunyun get the latter one a dagger. Megumin chose the dagger and later challenges Yunyun to hit in between Megumin’s fingers with the dagger as many times and as quickly as possible.

Yunyun is not ready to do it and accepts her defeat, agreeing to give Megumin her lunch for that day. When she goes home, Komekko tells Megumin that she has caught something. 

She has caught a small cat and calls it a fierce ebon beast. Megumin gets worried about the cat and takes it to school. She somehow convinces the teacher to let her keep it with her.

The teacher assigns them a new task to increase their power level. They all have to take part in the traditional Crimson Demon augmentation surge in order to raise their levels quickly. 

Yunyun wants to team up with Megumin, but Arue comes in and pairs with Megumin. Yunyun joins the group of other girls. The teacher gives Megumin the task to carry out the ritual by killing the already near-dead monster. 

However, the monster goes out of control and caused Megumin some trouble. She somehow manages to overpower it. 

Later, Megumin forces a girl to kill a cute little rabbit. She doesn’t want to, suddenly, a giant monster appears before them. They get chased by the monster. However, a giant attack destroys the monster. 

Megumin finds out it is Bukkorori. He is a wizard who is Soketto’s stalker. They leave him behind and get surrounded by monsters. Their teachers enter the area and start attacking the monsters with advanced magic. 

However, they go overboard and destroy the whole village. They still manage to rebuild the village within one night.
