The manga Komi Can’t Communicate recently received an anime adaptation, and we can’t wait for it to come out. Komi-san is a character that so many people would relate to due to her struggle with communication and social anxiety.
And it’s finally getting animated, so get ready for this chaos-filled rom-com!
Komi Can’t Communicate officially released a new visual poster and teaser on their website for the upcoming anime.
The poster visual shows us Shouko Komi, Hitohito Tadano, and Najimi Osana in their classroom.
While Najimi is seemingly teasing Hitohito about something, Komi-san is looking affectionately towards Tadano, confirming her obvious romantic feelings towards him.
The trailer introduces us to the three main characters on the poster while Tadano’s monologue plays in the background.
It has glimpses from the show, like how everyone around Komi is absolutely smitten by her beauty and grace and how Tadano is initially intimidated by her.
The trailer also shows us the iconic blackboard scene between Komi and Tadano, which resulted in their friendship!
It ends with a rather hilarious scene where Komi tells Tadano on the blackboard that her dream is to make 100 friends and threatens him not to laugh about it.
Komi suffers from social anxiety and a severe lack of communication skills, resulting in her being quiet all the time.
Even though she doesn’t like it, her looks and behavior make her seem unapproachable and intimidating to others, while they are also in awe of her beauty and can’t help but drool.
The anime is all set to make its debut in October 2021 as disclosed on its website.
The announcement for the anime adaptation of the manga was made public in April with a domain registered in its name on the internet.
Another reason for it getting an adaptation was that the manga became immensely popular, and more fans kept asking to see their favorite characters come alive.
Now that it’s finally getting one, fans can’t keep their excitement on hold, neither can we!
