Komi and her friends played with snow in episode 5 of Komi Can’t Communicate season 2.
It was a somewhat refreshing episode (except for Yamai’s part). Everyone playing in the snow and making snowballs felt sweet.
However, I seriously feel that the anime should reduce the amount of screentime Yamai gets. She just gets more annoying with every passing episode.
Komi and her family went to visit her grandmother. We got to see a very different side of grandma in this episode, and that made the part very enjoyable.
Komi gained a new experience as well, and Inaka Nokoko was also a part of it, helping Komi get over the trouble she was facing during her work.

Episode 6 Speculations
All of the cast will gather to go to the shrine in episode 6 of Komi Can’t Communicate, season 2.
Tadano, Najimi, Agari, Yadano, Onemine, Otori, Katai, Nakaka, and Yamai are the characters we will be looking into and see how they are spending their new year. Najimi and Tadano will gather the army, and we are going to have a lot of fun in the next episode.
The best thing is we will be getting some more sweet Tadano and Komi moments, and I can’t wait to see them animated. Let’s see what this cute couple will do in the new year.

Episode 5 Recap
It’s snowing heavily, and Najimi and Tadano are waiting for Komi outside. By the time Komi came out of her house, Tadano was already asleep. Najimi was awake at 3 in the morning and went to Tadano’s house at 5, and both of them were at Komi’s house at 6. This is why Tadano was feeling sleepy.
They start making snowmen and playing. After a while, Komi’s mom called them in for soup. After having soup, it’s time for a snowball fight.
Two teams are made, the high school team and the elementary school team, but Komi is the part of the elementary team. The game begins.
The elementary team is at a loss as their teammates are getting eliminated quickly, and Komi is afraid to throw snowballs at others.
Shiota gets frustrated, and he eliminates Tadano and Agari before getting eliminated himself. When he looks up, Komi is moving towards Yamai as the rest of her teammates are already down.
A few moments ago, Yamai had eliminated Yadano and Najimi for Komi’s sake. Komi comes close to Yamai and eliminates her, winning the game for the elementary school team. All the elementary school team becomes her friend.
Komi and her family go to meet her grandmother. Komi meets Akira again, and they decide to play Hanafuda cards. Grandma comes and quietly sits down beside Komi. She wants to play the game with them.
The showdown between Akira and grandma begins, Akira thinks she is winning the game, but grandma gains the upper hand and wins the game at the end. Akira wants Komi to avenge her. Komi doesn’t understand the game completely but somehow manages to win the game against grandma.
Grandma, Komi, and Akira get ready to visit the shrine. On reaching the shrine, the shrine head is worried because one of the shrine maidens caught a cold and wasn’t able to come.
He is in immediate need of a girl. Grandma gets Komi ready for the job. Komi is afraid, and she doesn’t know how to do things.
She meets Nokoko at the counter doing the job. Nokoko fails to recognize Komi at first but gets anxious after learning that it is her. She doesn’t want her secret to be revealed. Komi is afraid and isn’t able to do the job, but Nokoko starts helping her sort out things, and the job ends well.
Komi thanks Nokoko for looking out for her and helping her and wishes her a happy new year, hoping to get along well with her.
