Komi Can’t Communicate Episode 7: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode six of the Komi Can’t Communicate anime is the latest installment in the series.

The episode featured a new character, Kamiko Arai, a new employee at a saloon where Komi goes for a haircut. We see Komi trying and failing at making her friends laugh because of her lame dad jokes.

Komi and her friends become closer each day as they go shopping together and pick out outfits for Komi to try. They also go to the library to study together for their exams. After the results are out, the fact that Tadano is average in every aspect is reinstated.

In the next episode, Komi and others will meet at the pool to enjoy their summer vacation. Will more eccentric characters make it to Komi’s list of a hundred friends? We’ll keep watching to find out.

Episode 7 Speculation

In the next episode, we’ll see Komi nervously packing for the trip to the pool. She also decides to wear the dress that Tadano picked for her in the previous episode.

We’ll finally get to see Komi in a swimsuit. Judging by personality, Komi’s swimsuit will probably be a conservative one, but she might get a new one with friends.

Since it is a pool episode, cute moments between Komi and Tadano are also inevitable.

Episode 7 of the Komi Can’t Communicate anime has been released on Wednesday, Nov 17, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

1. Is Komi Can’t Communicate on Break this Week?

Komi Can’t Communicate is not on a break and will continue as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.

Episode 6 Recap

The episode begins with Komi trying to make Tadano laugh by cracking jokes. Tadano gets a little awkward since the jokes don’t work in a written format. Komi then calls him from outside the classroom and tries again, but her dad jokes aren’t funny.

Najimi enters the class, and we find that she’s also a victim of Komi’s lame jokes.

She asks Tadano to properly demonstrate telling a joke so that Komi can understand how humor works. Tadano gets flustered and tells an equally lame joke. Najimi is disappointed, but Komi is impressed by his joke.

Next, we see Najimi asking Komi about her shopping habits. Komi says that she doesn’t shop for her clothes herself and that her mother does her shopping for her.

Najimi decides to take her shopping after school and invites Himiko and Tadano. Ren overhears their conversation and follows them.

Later at the shopping mall, everyone decides to choose an outfit for Komi, and the best one will be bought. Najimi chooses a Chinese dress just for the sake of seeing her in one. Ren picks out a revealing outfit that makes Komi a little uncomfortable.

Himiko’s choice is too bland. Tadano picks out a cute white dress which gets approval from everyone, including Komi, so she buys it.

After shopping, Komi goes for a haircut. The hairdresser knows about her condition and gives Komi her usual haircut. A new employee, Kamiko Arai, is pleasantly surprised by Komi’s beauty but gets dejected when Komi doesn’t talk to her.

She tries her best, but Komi has a hard time communicating. After the haircut, she shampoos her hair, still confused about why Komi isn’t speaking to her.

Before leaving the saloon, Komi thanks Arai using a magazine by pointing towards the words, “thank you.”

The hairdresser tells Arai that some people have difficulty communicating, which is why Komi wasn’t talking to her the whole time she was there. Arai feels relieved and thanks Komi for visiting. The next day, at school, no one except Tadano notices her haircut.

We then see how Najimi is stressed due to their upcoming exams. She decides to study with Komi and Tadano in the library. The librarian kicks out Najimi after she creates a ruckus while playing Jenga instead of quietly studying.

Tadano and Komi followed her since it was fun playing, and they didn’t want to leave her alone.

Later we see that Komi aces all her exams, Najimi gets a decent, above-average score, and Tadano scores exactly average marks.

After their exams are over, it’s time for summer vacation. Both Tadano and Komi finish their homework and are bored. They want to call each other but are too nervous. Najimi comes in as a savior and invites the two to the pool. Komi also talks to Najimi for the first time through her cell.
