Komi Can’t Communicate Episode 5: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

The latest episode of Komi Can’t Communicate, titled “The Physical; Ren,” was the fourth installment in the series.

The episode featured two new characters, Yadano Makeru and Yamai Ren. While we only got a glimpse of Makeru’s extremely competitive spirit, Ren’s inner yandere tendencies were fully fleshed out.

We were warned about the strange and weird nature of Itan Private High students before, but with the introduction of each new character, the anime keeps on getting more interesting.

How many more eccentric characters will make it to Komi’s list of a hundred friends? We’ll keep watching to find out.

Episode 5 Speculation

In episode five, the battle between Makeru and Komi will continue as Makeru tries her best to win in the fitness exam. I think it’s obvious that Komi will get higher scores despite Makeru’s best efforts.

As the season changes, Komi will make an appearance in her summer uniform, baffling everyone around her with her unparalleled beauty.

The gang will also visit a ramen place with Komi for the first time.

We’ll also meet another new character, Omoharu Nakanaka, who is the designated chuunibyou of the class.

Episode 5 Release Date

Episode 5 of the Komi Can’t Communicate anime has been released on Wednesday, Nov 03, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

I. Is Komi Can’t Communicate on Break this Week?

Komi Can’t Communicate is not on a break and will continue as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.

Episode 4 Recap

The episode begins with the introduction of Yadano Makeru, an extremely competitive girl. She makes it her mission to get a better score than Komi, fully aware that Komi had a god-like presence.

A clueless Komi competes and easily scores more than her contentious classmate. Makeru makes a self-declaration that the contest between her and Komi is a tie and promises to come back again. Meanwhile, we see that Tadano is average in all aspects.

Next, we meet Yamai Ren, who labels herself as a completely ordinary girl. Although, there is something not-so-ordinary about her. Her massive crush on Komi is something that brings out her inner yandere, which makes her very far from an average person.

She kidnaps Tadano, deeming his average and unremarkable self not fit for Komi’s company. At school, she bullies Najimi to introduce her to Komi. Komi is somewhat uncomfortable due to Tadano’s absence but manages to communicate through gestures.

Najimi suggests that it will be fun if she and Komi visit Ren’s house. Ren agrees, thinking that Komi’s scent would be all over her room. Before the two girls enter, Ren locks up Tadano in her closet, taping his mouth shut.

Of course, Najimi and Komi discover poor Tadano. Ren explains how she didn’t think that someone like Tadano should be friends with Komi. Komi tells Ren that she is the one who will choose her friends and leaves with Tadano.

At school, Komi asks Tadano to reconsider their friendship since she doesn’t want something terrible to happen to him. Tadano reiterates her and says he chooses to be Komi’s friend, and nothing can change that.

Komi is delighted to hear this and tries to speak once again. Embarrassed, she covers her face and mutters that she really wanted to be Tadano’s friend too.

The two are interrupted by Najimi and Ren as Ren apologizes to Tadano and Komi. Komi scribbles on her notebook, conveying that she forgives Ren. Ren mistakes this as Komi not deeming her good enough to hold a normal conversation, but Najimi and Tadano explain how Komi had a disorder. Instead of being weirded out, Ren is radiant with joy to discover a new side of Komi.
