Komi Can’t Communicate, the high school romantic comedy manga has an anime release this Fall 2021!
Many would connect with the socially anxious high school girl, Shouko Komi, who can’t hold a simple conversation with others. This leads to her loneliness while everyone else around her is enjoying the time of their lives.
So now, Komi is on a mission to get 100 new friends while her seatmate Hitohito Tadano helps her!
For all the fans out there who have been waiting for an anime adaptation, their prayers are finally answered.
Komi Can’t Communicate, the comedy manga is finally receiving an anime adaptation. It is being speculated that the anime will premiere by October 2021!
Through the social media leak in April of 2021, we already know that the production company registered a domain under komi san official.
We cannot confirm that Komi Can’t Communicate will be released in October since an official announcement by the studio is yet to be made.
The anime adaptation will be produced by OLM studio, which has a pretty good track record of quality anime such as Pokemon, Yo-kai Watch, and Odd Taxi.

With its loveable protagonist and heartwarming story, many fans will be waiting for an anime release that lives up to the manga’s potential.
I can easily conclude for rom-com fans that 2021 has been a redemption arc for 2020 with the anime adaptation of Please don’t toy with me, Miss Nagatoro, and the upcoming Komi Can’t Communicate.
