As per earlier leaks, Kirara has officially been introduced to the Genshin Impact by developers Hoyoverse, along with her unique catbox form.
The new playable unit, Kirara, is a Dendro user, as revealed in an earlier leak. The official Genshin Impact YouTube channel has announced the character demo for the four-star Dendro Kirara.
She is set to be the first Dendro user from the Inazuma region. As per her official bio, she is a dedicated Komaniya Express worker responsible for deliveries in the Electro Nation. HoYoverse has announced that she will appear on the first banner in Genshin Impact’s version 3.7, i.e., on 24th May 2023.
Kirara hailing from the Inazuma region means that Mondstadt remains the only region that doesn’t have a Dendro character. The video also proves that Kirara delivers packages all over the Tevyat world.
This includes the entire region from Inazuma and Sumeru to Mondstadt and Liyue. One of the primary reasons for her exceptional performance in her job is that she can transform into a delivery box, granting unique movement and protection.
Her Elemental Skill is a “Meow-teor Kick” that enables Kirara to deal AoE Dendro damage. This also creates a Shield of Safe Transport. The shield’s strength is proportionate to Kirara’s max HP.
This pointer hints that players should focus on this stat while building Kirara. Kirara’s Elemental Burst is called “Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch” and is much simpler.
It deploys a special delivery package that deals AoE Dendro damage. After the explosion, the box will split into many Dendro mines, exploding on contact.
This will ring a bell in the minds of many Genshin fans because Klee’s Jumpy Dumpty had a similar specialty. Along with her, Pyro bow wielder Yoimiya and Electro catalyst Yae Miko will also feature on the ver 3.7 banner.
Yoimiya is one of the best Pyro DPS characters in Genshin Impact, if not the best. Yae Miko is a very versatile character usable in most team compositions.
With the arrival of such solid characters and Kirara’s powers, players will be eagerly waiting for the launch to include these characters in their ranks.
