Every student fears failure in school, and Kinsō no Vermeil is a story that starts because of it. The difference here is that Alto Goldfield accidentally summons a powerful demon, Vermeil, who was sealed ages ago, to pass one of his classes.
The story is the perfect mix of fantasy, action, and ecchi with some incredible magic and epic adventures of Alto and Vermeil. The manga has been a fan favorite ever since it started, and now an anime is on its way to doing the same.
Kinsō no Vermeil has revealed a new promotional video for its TV anime series slated for its debut on July 5, 2022. It also previews the anime’s opening theme song, ‘Abracada-Boo’ by Kaori Ishihara.
The trailer starts with Alto summoning Vermeil, who teases and overwhelms him with her charms and attractiveness. To add more to his misery, Vermeil reveals that she needs to borrow magic from Alto and does so by kissing him, which startles him.
Vermeil becomes Alto’s familiar, and they become closer to each other, much to the chagrin of Alto’s childhood friend Lilia. Meanwhile, everyone else is shocked by the young magician’s odd demon companion.
Moreover, the franchise also revealed a new visual featuring Alto, Vermeil, and Lilia, with the magic academy’s student council president Elena behind the trio.

Before you make up your mind to watch the show, you should know it’s a borderline older-sister hentai trope. The only thing that makes Kinsō no Vermeil different is that it has a plot and some genuinely interesting characters.
I’m looking forward to how much content they’ll be able to put in the anime after the heavy censorship.
