King’s Raid Anime Reveals Cast & Staff, Debuts in Fall 2020

King’s Raid was originally an RPG style mobile game developed by Vespa, a South Korean game developer. The game allows players to collect characters to build a group and fight real-time battles and organize raids.

The game follows the first character called Kasel, who goes on an adventure with Cleo and Frey and encounters other characters on his journey. Numerous characters are available for players to either buy or acquire.

An anime will be developed based on the King’s Raid game called King’s Raid: Heirs Of the Will. The anime is supposed to debut in October 2020.

The trailer for King’s Raid: Heirs Of the Will was released in May on the official Youtube channel of the anime.

The official website of the King’s Raid anime also revealed the additional cast and staff members who are involved with the anime.

King’s Raid: Heirs Of the Will is being directed by Makoto Hoshino under studio OLM and Sunrise Beyond.

Staff include Megumi Shimizu as the scriptwriter, Tatsuya Arai as the character designer and Masahiro Tokuda as the music composer.

The additional staff info reveals Shigemi Ikeda, Yukiko Maruyama, as the art directors.

Makiko Kojima is in charge of color design while Takeshi Hirooka is the photography director. Editing is done by Naoki Watanabe, and Takatoshi Hamano is the sound director.

About King’s Raid

Set in the world of sorcery and sword, a century after the defeat of demon King Angumondo by King Kairu of Orvelia. Our protagonist, Kasel, is a squire who lives in these peaceful times.

However, his destiny has some other plans for him when he hears that the demons are reappearing on the land and causing chaos.

Kasel, with his companions and one wise man, embarks on an adventure to exterminate the darkness, which is lurking on his peaceful land and become the Chosen Warrior of the ‘Holy Sword Aea.’
