King’s Raid 2nd Cour PV, Debut and Release Dates For Episodes 13 and 14

King’s Raid anime’s first Cour ends with Kasel surviving the test by Chief Aeotola, and thereby unlocking the second seal.

He is now two-thirds of the way to unlock the full potential of the holy sword, but still, he is far from controlling this immense power. Can he defeat the Dark Lord and restore peace to the world?

The anime industry is getting more and more habituated to anime inspired by games. Games like Granblue Fantasy and Castlevania have already gained a lot of popularity.

Fall 2020 came up with King’s Raid, another game-based anime, which has gained popularity very quickly.

On Saturday, the King’s Raid franchise revealed a new trailer video for Cour 2 of the anime. Episodes 13 and 14 will be broadcasted on December 25, 2020.

[TVA] Season 2 Starts December 25th! TVA 「KING's RAID : Successors of the Will」

The trailer video features Malduk taking on an Elf army all alone. He is trying to spread chaos in this world. We also get to see Rihito pointing his sword towards Scarlet.

In Episode 12, Kaulah takes Kasel to the holy place where the Shaman’s train. Kasel being the heir of the holy sword, goes through a test to prove his dedication.

The test takes him to an illusion world, where his mother is still alive. The concept is similar to the Tsukuyomi Genjutsu technique we saw in Naruto.

However, Kazel refuses to live in a fake world, and after struggling for some time, comes out of the illusion.

As soon as he unlocks the second seal, Malduk appears and takes up a fight with them. We witnessed that Kazel has no control over his newly found powers.

It’s said that history repeats itself over and over again. Can Kazel, the current heir of the holy sword, defeat the Dark Lord, just like the former heir Kyle did centuries ago?

In Cour 2, Kazel will be training hard to gain control over his holy sword. Meanwhile, Maldukt, the one who brought in the Dark Lord 100 years ago, will be continuing with his evil intentions.

The two warriors are likely to face each other again in Cour 2, and this time the battle will not remain undecided.

‘Two key episodes on a single day’ is probably the best Christmas gift that the franchise could have given us. Based on the anime’s increasing fame with every episode, we can easily predict that the anime has a long way to go.

Set in the world of sorcery and sword, a century after the defeat of demon King Angumondo by King Kairu of Orvelia. Our protagonist, Kasel, is apparently a squire who lives in these peaceful times.

However, his destiny has some other plans for him when he hears that the demons are reappearing on the land and causing chaos.
