Kingdom Season 5 Episode 9: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Kei Sha escapes from Kanki’s trap with the help of Ki Sui in episode 8 of Kingdom season 5, titled “In an Instant.” 

It was a thrilling episode with lots of twists and turns. At first, it seemed like this was the end for Kei Sha, but Ki Sui interfered, ruining Kanki’s plans. Still, Qin seems to be in an advantageous state overall. 

Shin and his men were first used as bait and left alone. Shin decided to use this for his benefit and engage with Kei Sha directly. However, his plan backfired as Ryuu Tou also entered the battle to aid Kei Sha.

Episode 9 of Kingdom season 5 will be released on Saturday, March 9, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and each new episode is released every Saturday. You can watch Kingdom on Crunchyroll.

2. Episode 9 Speculations

Kyou Kai will assist Shin against Kei Sha in episode 9 of Kingdom season 5, titled “Misfortune.” 

Her entry into the battlefield was unexpected. She must be pushing herself despite her injuries. Her entry will put Kei Sha and Ryuu Tou at a disadvantage. This might also mean the end of Ryuu Tou. 

It is time for the ultimate battle between Shin and Kei Sha. The two will clash swords in an episode or two. It doesn’t look like there is any need for Kanki to enter the battle himself, but he might take charge against Ki Sui as he is the biggest obstacle to Qin’s victory. 

3. Episode 8 Recap

Kei Sha attacks the Hi Shin force. Ka Ryo Ten is unable to find a way to tackle the large army standing in front of them. The presence of Ba Tei and Ryuu Tou adds to their disadvantage. 

Meanwhile, Zenou launches a massive attack on Ki Sui’s army, causing major damage and leaving Ki Sui at a loss of words. He soon realizes that Zenou’s main target is Kei Sha. 

Kin Mou gets distressed when he remembers what Riboku told him about Kei Sha. Riboku told him that if Kei Sha were to come out of his web, even he could be slain, and Kanki did exactly that by not acting on the third day and using the Hi Shin unit as bait. 

Kei Sha’s army is surrounded from all sides. Ki Sui enters the battle and attacks Zenou’s men. He gets hit by Zenou, but he bravely stands tall and motivates his soldiers to fight hard to stop the enemy from entering Koku You. 

Ki Sui’s battle cry made Kanki frown as he realized he could put Zhao’s defeat on hold. Koku’Ou sends out her army to take over the right side of the hill. Even Ki Sui’s army fails to stall and overpower the enemy. 

At this moment, Ba Tei and Ryuu Tou enter the battle. Using this distraction, Kei Sha makes his escape. Kanki’s plan of getting the head of Kei Sha fails because of Ki Sui and the Rigan army. 

Shin is irritated after he realizes that he was used as bait. Ka Ryo Ten tells the soldiers to join the battle on the right side of the hill, but Shin stops her. He tells her they can go straight for Kei Sha since no one is watching them. 

Ka Ryo thinks it might be tough, but this can instantly bring Qin victory. Seeing the enemy advance to the main route of the hill, Ki Sui decides to go and protect Duke Koku while Ryuu Tou assists the battle from the ground. 

Shin attacks Kei Sha’s army, but he is immediately attacked by Ryuy Tou from the rear. The Hi Shin army finds itself in a difficult spot because of the weariness from the previous battle. 

The enemy soldiers rush for Ka Ryo Ten, but Kyou Kai appears, slaying the enemies and shocking everyone.
