Kingdom Season 5 Episode 3: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Shin faces defeat at the hands of Ba Tei and Ryuu Tou in episode 2 of Kingdom season 5, titled “The Stench of the Battlefield.” 

It was a thrilling episode with lots of mind games and sword clashes. It was so intense that by the end of the episode, Zhao Army Kei Sha’s general got down to hunt his enemies. 

Kanki used the Zenou clan for some fast action and to reduce the enemies’ dominance on the battlefield. He was forced to use his ace early because Shin lost and failed to get past the front line and reclaim the lost hill.

1. Episode 3 Release Date

Episode 3 of Kingdom Season 5 will be released on Saturday, January 27, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and each new episode is released every Saturday. You can watch Kingdom on Crunchyroll

I. Is Kingdom Season 5 on break this week?

Kingdom Season 5 is not on break this week. Episode 3 will be released as per schedule. 

2. Episode 3 Speculations

Shin will fight his way back into the war in episode 2 of Kingdom season 5, titled “Heiyong at Night.” 

Heiyong is the Chinese name of Koku You Hill. Shin faced a big setback on the first day of the battle. He will have to face some punishment for the same, but he will be determined to fight back the next day and will build some solid strategy with Ka Ryo for the same.

Kei Sha will launch an attack on The Qin Army at night. The attacks will cause little damage, but the main action will start from the next day onwards when the Hi Shin unit will meet Ba Tei again to reclaim their lost hill.

3. Episode 2 Recap

Ba Tei launches a surprise attack on Shin. Despite getting surrounded, Shin refuses to back down. Ryuu Tou takes over one of their hills, leaving Qin disadvantaged. 

After fighting for some time, Qin’s backup shows up, but Ba Tei leaves them as his purpose is complete, promising Shin that he will bring a bigger army next time. 

Ka Ryo tells her unit that they will have to take over the hill soon as she believes that the enemy must have taken control using a small number of soldiers. Shin decides to attack the hill. 

They approach the enemies silently and launch an attack on them, only to realize that they have been fooled. Dummies were placed as soldiers on the hill to distract the enemies, and Ba Tei and Ryuu Tou moved forward toward their next goal.  

Kyou Kai and her unit come across a village unknown to the war in the hills. She decides to warn the villagers and tells one of her men to tell Shin about it. 

Be Hei moves forward with Ha’In, who tells Be Hei about the Zenou and Saki clan, their ruthlessness, and how these various Bandits came under Kanki. While they are talking, Kanki shows up with Rin Gyoku.

Kanki inquiries about Zenou and Raido and heads towards them. Kei Sha and his soldiers reach the central hill with no hint of any enemies around them. Kanki reaches Zenou and tells him he needs his help.

Shin failed to push back the frontline. Kei Sha is reluctant to take the main camp to the central hill because he has yet to smell the Kanki’s stench at the bottom. Suddenly, they hear loud crashing noises. 

The Zenou clan begins crushing enemies left and right. Kei Sha gets the news that the front line has collapsed. Ki Sui tells Kei Sha to drop the idea of climbing the hill for now, but Kei Sha tells him not to interfere between him and Kanki. 

The Zhao army begins their advancement to capture the central hill. Zenou and Raido rush to block the enemies when Gaku Ei of the Kei Sha Army greets them. Kei Sha himself gets down to the battlefield and encounters Bi Hei. 

Kei Sha crushes Bi Hei and moves forward. Bi Hei hides himself and is shocked to learn that he was attacked by Kei Sha, the main general of Zhao, and wonders why he himself came down to fight so early in the battle.
