Qin and Zhao’s armies will cross blades again in season 5 of Kingdom as the anime picks up from where season 4 ended.
The previous season ended on a high note, and this season will continue the ongoing Koku You Campaign arc. The anime will adapt from chapter 441 of the manga and will open up with an ongoing discussion between Ka Rin and Ri En.
Ka Rin is the Great General of the Chu military and one of the two prime ministers of the state of Chu, while Ri En is the other prime minister. The first episode will tell us why Ri En killed Shun Shi Kun, the head of Military Affairs of the state of Chu.
The focus will then shift to Qin and how they will plan their attack on Zhao. Kanki will be their Commander-in-Chief, and Shin and Hi Shin’s unit will be his reinforcements.
