Most Kingdom fans were heartbroken by Seikyou’s demise in the previous episode, and his last words impacted everyone around him. As far as we could tell, Xin was the most affected by his death.
It was impossible to hold back her tears as Seikyou’s wife who was the princess was ready to go against the rivals. Later in the episode, when Xin faced the chancellor, he had an emotional moment and said the chancellor could never be the king.
Lü Buwei aka the chancellor exited the palace calmly and happily at the end of the episode.

Episode 6 Speculations
As episode 5 was coming to an end, we saw Xin tackling the chancellor “Lü Buwei” and the guards attempting to save him, and he stopping them.
Even though Xin said the chancellor could never be the king, he had a smirk on his face. That heated moment in the previous episode was all we needed.
Xin and the chancellor may get into an argument in the upcoming episode, followed by much more action.

Episode 5 Recap
The Kingdom produces such unforgettable moments. In addition to the fact that it’s based on a true story, I guess it needs to be based on a unified China. In light of how many people will die in Qin’s unification wars, Seikyou’s dying words were indeed haunting, considering how many people will die.
The character of Seikyou was really fascinating and no one expected he might die in this episode. As a result of his loss to Zheng, he became more humble and realized that nobody else could achieve what Zheng was trying to accomplish.
Xin and Seikyou’s wife was heartbroken by the fact that Seikyou was no more. Soon after they were seen as more aggressive and willing to defeat enemies.
Xin later encountered the commissioner and he exclaimed that “he’ll never be the king” as he was no royal family, the commissioner smirked and said that all these statements doesn’t matter to him at all.
The guards around the commissioner got alerted as Xin jumped and made his appearance in an attempt to save him from Xin and the episode ended with the arguement between the commissioner and Xin.
