The turnaround time for season 4 of Kingdom will be much quicker in comparison to the third season. The battle may be over, but the war is yet to be won.
With season 4 of Kingdom nearing its April 2022 release, the franchise teases us of an imminent battle in the new trailer.
The new trailer sets up the scene with Ei Sei approaching his crowning ceremony as the Qin leader. He tells Prince Sei Kyou that he plans on becoming the ruler who unites China while war is knocking on his door.
Season 3 of the series had been hit by some delays due to the ongoing COVID pandemic. Thankfully, that’s not the case for the fourth season.
The series is currently on schedule for a debut sometime during the spring 2022 anime season.
Though the exact release date is yet to be out, the trailer dropping in gives a solid confirmation of the series nearing its release.
The previous seasons of the series were streamed on major platforms like Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Funimation, and it is likely to do so for the fourth season as well.
With Ei Sei setting his eye on the throne, will he be able to bring peace to the unrest in China? I’m curious to know what sort of power struggle will he face as threats creep in for war.
