Episode 23, titled ‘Unprecedented Aid,’ gave goosebumps to all Kingdom fans with its fantastic battle visuals, especially when the mountain tribe marched wildly towards Zhao troops.
Earlier in the episode, just when everyone on Qin’s side thought they would die in the hands of Zhao soldiers, mountain folks’ reinforcements arrived from the opposite side.
Leaving no option for Li Mu, he decided to withdraw, but Pang Nuan appeared and made him rethink his decision. Even the most aggressive mountain tribe recognized his power.
As the mountain tribe’s high command, Yang Duan He, took off to fight with the great general of Zhao, Shin asked her to stop as he decided on fighting himself.

Episode 24 Preview & Speculation
To defeat a great general like Pang Nuan, who has a massive body and incomparable power, Shin needs something more than his sword.
At the moment, it’s difficult to predict who will win in the battle between Pang Nuan and Shin. On the one hand, Pang Nuan’s power has no match. Even the mountain folk reinforcement was not able to get a hold of him.
On the other hand, the shine in Shin’s eyes indicates that he will not give up until he kills Pang Nuan. All in all, next week’s episode is going to be even more exciting to watch.
The next episode will continue Shin’s and Pang Nuan’s hand-to-hand combat. Shin never fails to amaze us with his strategies, so I’m sure he has something planned this time too.
I hope Shin will prove those who thought he was foolish to decide on fighting Pang Nuan wrong. Even the most ferocious mountain warriors were no match for Pang Nuan, but Shin has also proven his mettle so far.

Episode 24 of Kingdom (2021) anime, titled ‘Deepest Gratitude,’ will be released on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 23 Recap
Li Mu’s cavalry troops storm into the castle through the west gate. The civilians start to cry, thinking Zui has started to fall. Hai Rou asks Shin about the next step while he stares over the other side of the battleground.
Shin surprises everyone by saying that they’ve witnessed a miracle. Soon afterwards, reinforcements arrive for Qin. Shin thinks back to when Ying Zheng told him about sending mountain folk reinforcements before leaving Xianyang, but they went on an expedition deep into the forest.
Ying Zheng sent Lord Changwen to deliver the word to them, but he was not sure whether they would make it on time or not. In the present, the mountain folk reinforcement takes their position and rushes towards the Zhao troops from all sides.
Everyone’s face lights up on the Qin’s side as they see reinforcement in action. On the other hand, Li Mu and his troops start to panic. The mountain tribe breaks through Li Mu’s troops in a wild manner.
Suddenly Fu Di charges into the mountain folks’ flank but is shocked to see their high command moving at high speed. Li Mu thinks about what he should do. He thinks about retreating, but that would mean the the coalition army would end up as a failure.
Just when he is about to command withdrawing, Pang Nuan appears and slashes many of the enemy soldiers at once. Ying Zheng immediately recognizes him as one of the three great generals of Zhao who slew Wang Yi and Lord Biao.
Yang Duan He, the high command of the mountain tribe, runs towards Pang Nuan, but Shin asks her to stop and takes off from there himself. As he marches towards Pang Nuan, Xin’s horse bites Pang Nuan’s horse to get Pang Nuan off his horse.
Shin and Pang Nuan fight standing on the ground, but with Pang Nuan’s single move, Shin falls far off on the ground. Just when everyone thinks Shin was foolish to act like that, he stands up and steps forward. Both Shin and Pang Nuan swear to kill each other.
