Episode 16 Preview & Speculation
It’s impressive how Wang Jian was able to foresee the chain of events and act accordingly. Thanks to his alertness, Qins were saved from a big defeat.
It seems like Li Mu will make a move during the night, taking the opportunity of very few in the Qin army knowing about his absence. So it’s a perfect time to attack the enemy as they must be celebrating. ‘The most dangerous man in the entire Kingdom’ indeed!

Episode 15 Recap
At Hangu Pass, Meng Ao’s army pushes the enemy away from both sides. Suddenly, they notice an army holding the Chu flag arriving from above the cliff. Meng Ao realizes that the Chu army sneaked up behind them.
Meanwhile, Wu Fengming’s Wei army stands outside the entrance waiting for an order to charge in. Meng Ao commands his troops to surround Wei and Chu army but realizes that it’s too late now. So he asks his soldiers to defend the Hangu pass gate with all that they’ve got.
Despite being aware of the situation, Kan Ki smirks instead of worrying. The Chu army soldiers reach the Hangu pass gate and start to drag the boulders out. Meng Ao realizes that the Hangu Pass has started to fall.
Just when he murmurs about failing his king and fellow citizens of Qin, Wang army, lead by General Wang Jian, arrives as the reinforcement. He kills the Chu soldiers trying to open the gate, hence securing the entrance.
Wa Lin realizes their failure on noticing the smoke by Chu army in the sky and blames Han Ming for their defeat. At the coalition Headquarters, a message from Li Mu arrives, asking all Zhao troops to withdraw to headquarters.
Following the message, Qing She withdraws, leaving Xin confused until Liao Diao arrives and tells him everything. First, however, Xin comments that the war is not over yet.
