Li Mu gathers everyone and tells them he will leave for Gian in the north. Shun Sui Ju confirms that the constructions near the two bastions were finalized yesterday.
His subordinates are surprised by this decision, except for Gaku Sho. He and his troops are sent to the south, at Bujou and Heiyou.
At the Zhao frontiers, the Hi Shin unit celebrates the new year. Later, when the Qin army reaches Heiyou, they find one of the giant castles they’ve ever seen. A siege tower, endearingly named Ko-Shun, is brought out to help scale the enormous castle walls.
A small group of soldiers, including Ousen, slip between the two castles to survey the area. There is no Kantan in sight, but a great wall obscures it. A soldier informs Ousen that the wall runs on for 250 Li.
No one knows how such a big construction happened right under their noses. Li Mu had ordered this bulwark to be constructed three years ago.
Ousen seems to have figured out where the most important center for this war is. He points to Gian on the map.
