Kimi Wa Kanata or “You are Beyond” is a Japanese anime movie produced by Digital Network Animation. The story is about Mio and her feelings for her childhood friend Arata.
The two friends continue their relationship only to fight over trivial matters and a traffic accident sends Mio into another side of the world she never knew existed.
Kimi wa Kanata is set to premiere on November 27th, 2020.
A stunning visual poster and a mesmerizing new movie trailer were released showcasing the key visual and storyline of the much-anticipated movie.
The poster features Mio and Arata holding onto each other while they float in the sky. We can also see a train floating in water symbolizing the mysteries of the other world Mio travelled to after her accident.
The trailer shows Mio living her daily life, going to school with her friends and Arata by her side.
When one rainy day, she gets into a traffic accident and wakes up in a strange yet familiar world. The sky of that world is lit with colorful stars and penguins flying around.
The trains float in water and a strange mysterious blue creature welcomes her into that alternate world. Follow her journey as she tries to find her way back to Arata and confess her true love for him.
The trailer also features Saji’s “Momentary Dramatic” as the theme song.
Sena Yoshinobu is the director for this incredible film and it features a stellar voice cast.
