At the end of Season 2, Sawako and Kazehaya finally became a couple after a series of misunderstandings. Sawako also reconciled with Kurumi, and the post-credit scenes showed the lovely love life of our protagonists.
In Season 3, the story will be adapted from Volume 12 of the manga. Now that Kazehaya and Sawako are dating, they must reveal their relationship to their parents, which will be the main plot point of the series. The season will also focus on Chizu and Ayane’s love stories.

Kimi ni Todoke is a romance manga by Karuho Shiina. Two anime adaptations of Kimi ni Todoke were aired in Japan and produced by Production IG. A third season is set to premiere in 2024.
Sawako Kuronuma is a secluded high school student who finds it hard to communicate. She is often bullied due to her appearance but finds solace in Kazehaya, her school’s popular boy.
The friendship urges her to open up and make more friends in the class. Soon, love blossoms between Kuronuma and Kazehaya.
