Kengan Omega Chapter 91: Release Date, Delay, Discussion

Chapter 90 showed us the first five and a half minutes of the sixth round of the tournament between Lu Tian and Kanoh Agito.

Both of them were using the same formless stance and the same fighting techniques. For the first five minutes, Agito and Tian were evenly matched, but soon Agito is seen breaking down in front of Lu Tian’s immense power.

1. Chapter 91 Discussions & Predictions     

Chapter 91 will continue with the sixth round of the tournament between Lu Tian and Kanoh Agito. It seems that Tian currently has the upper hand, and he managed to land few hits on Agito.

However, it won’t be easy to defeat Kanoh since he is known for improving drastically within a match. So, underestimating him is probably the gravest mistake that Tian can commit.

This chapter is expected to reveal more about the Niko Tokita, who trained Kanoh and Tian. We already know that Tian is a Worm member and the one who escaped ‘Gu.’ On the other hand, Agito survived ‘Gu’ for three months, so it is expected that he should win.

But this tournament is full of surprises, and Tian firmly claims that he has inherited some secrets of the formless stance which Kaoh is unaware of.

5. Recap of Chapter 90

Commentator Katahara Sayaka is amazed to see Kanoh and Tian using the same form and techniques to fight against each other.

Lu Tians keeps talking about himself as he fights Agito. He reveals that he isn’t pretending to be someone else, and all his emotions are real so that no one could catch him off guard.

Tian shows him the wrist band that was given to all the fighters who were sent to Gu. Kanoh instantly recognizes him as a ‘survivor’ who pulled through the Gu chamber.

Then we get to see flashbacks from Agito’s past, where his master, Niko Tokita, locked him with the other students for three months, thereby placing them in a ‘Battle Royale’ situation where only one of them can survive.

Kanoh Agito was the one who survived the Gu chamber, and somehow Lu Tian escaped that hell too. The chapter also revealed that Niko Tokita is a codename given to disciples of Gaoh Mukaku.

The intense battle continues and even skilled fighters like Koga and Ohma cannot figure out the techniques. Both evenly matched each other for the first five minutes, and then Kanoh is seen breaking down, and it seems he has reached his limits

Tian also reveals that their master, Niko Tokita was totally different from the one who trained Ohma. He abandoned the Niko style and mastered the formless stance.

Tian claimed himself as the perfect practitioner of the ultimate formless technique. He also adds that Agito’s imperfect techniques don’t stand against him.

6. About Kengan Omega

Kengan Ashura is a Japanese manga series written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon.       

It was serialized on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website from April 2012 to August 2018. A sequel, titled Kengan Omega, began in January 2019.
