4. Recap of Previous Chapter 70

I. Fight Intensifies

Chapter 70, titled “One Move,” begins with Rihito taking another hit on his chest and begins to limp. He takes another hit; Ryo explains to those sitting around him that Rihito has been poisoned.

He tells them about “Yao-Xiao,” while the fighters of purgatory discuss the match and Falcon’s blood loss, which could cause him to pass out if he made significant movements.

Rihito continues attacking Falcon and finally gets Razor’s edge in. In the audience, Kuroki tells Takakaze that either of them could pass out at any moment.

II. Who Won?

The fight continues, and Falcon attacks with Sparrow stab; that move puts Rihito on the ground, and the count starts.

When Falcon feels relief about Rihito being down, Rihito gets up and continues to strike again.

Falcon is faced with the fear of his moves not working on Rihito and gets himself punched to the ground but turns the match around by kicking Rihito and grabbing him by the neck in the rear-naked choke.

Rihito not being able to shake off Falcon because of the poisons’ effect. Rihito uses Razor’s edge one last time before he loses his strength. The chapter ends with the announcement of the match ending, and one player is down!

Kengan Ashura is a Japanese manga series written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon. It was serialized on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website from April 2012 to August 2018.

A sequel, titled Kengan Omega, began in January 2019.
