5. Recap of Chapter 68

I. Falcon’s deadly attacks

In chapter 68, titled “Spin,” we continue with the match between Falcon and Rihito. Falcon stabs Rihito on his shoulder with his fingers again.

Rihito is still confused as he cannot see any of Falcon’s moves coming at him. But Falcon doesn’t waste any time and attacks him again with ‘Lotus King.’

For now, Rihito only tries to dodge the attacks. Kuroki explains Takakaze, both watching the match, that Rihito is only running away right now. Falcon continues with his deadly attacks.

A. Rihito strikes back

Suddenly Rihito is reminded of his time in America and his master’s teachings. He remembers the theory of ‘True Initiative’ but has never actually learned it because it takes years to master.

He was told to think for himself if he wants to move “beyond Z.” Rihito gathers his strength and focuses on what he can do at that moment.

Falcon relaunches his attack, and Rihito takes the hit but strikes back using ‘Razor’s Edge’ and does more damage to his opponent. Gaining his confidence back, Rihito turns the table and takes the current of the match into his hands.
