Kiryu replies that Ryuki can go ahead because he will finish the rest. Meanwhile, Akoya and Tian get into a rapid knife fight. The knife breaks with their strength at par, and they get into a fistfight. Tian then flings Akoya down and aggressively punches his face.
Akoya somehow counters the beating and, using a touch light, stabs Tian’s head. With the base taken out, Kiryu says to Akoya he looks pathetic after his fight.
Akoya, looking at his reflection, wonders if he’s lost the edge and feels his mission is ending. He then thinks that Ryuki might be his successor with things looking slim for him.
