Hayami is agitated by Masaki’s actions and thinks he made a soldier from Meguro’s failure. With things heading in the wrong direction, Hayami tries to use the bomb implanted in Masaki. Masaki tells Hayami it won’t work since the bombs have been removed from his body.

Hayami, caught off guard, gets grabbed by the face by Masaki and told it was a lie about the bombs. Masaki further states his sister revealed about the Worm and that Hayami is an evil man.

Masaki reveals Hayami didn’t create his brother’s issues as he helplessly tries to talk his way out. Hayami then realizes that Meguro was already mentally insane before the surgery. Masaki, with bloody tears, says Hayami’s company will be fine without him.

He crushes Hayami with a Judo slam onto the ground, causing his body to fold backward in half. Rino, watching from the side, leaves, and the panels state the CEO of Toyo Electric Power Co. is now diseased.

Meanwhile, Ohma and Karura walk into the celebration with bitter faces. Kazuo and everyone gets the news of Eroih’s death, causing a sudden change in atmosphere. The final panel says the world started to change, little by little, on that day.
