II. The Vanished Judo Champion

Then we get to see flashbacks from Jurota’s past life before he vanished from the fighting world.

After winning the Judo Championship for three consecutive years within the age of 18, Jurota feels that he has reached a level where no other fighter is worthy enough to fight him.

Then one day, he watches 12-year-old Hayami Masaki on television. He instantly realizes that this boy will one day grow into his worthy rival, so he keeps working on his techniques with the hopes to face him someday.

One year later, he finds out in a newspaper that Masaki has been suspected of serial murder of four Judo practitioners, including his own father.

With his only rival held behind the bars, he finds no point in appearing in the tournaments anymore, so he steps down from the fighting world and devotes his years to prepare himself for the ultimate showdown with Masaki.

III. Masaki Showing His True Colors

Back to the ongoing fight, Masaki gets faster with each fall and starts to shift from defense to offense. He grabs Jurota in a triangle choke and pins him to the ground.

Surprisingly, Jurota seems to be happy to see his opponent fight back. He calls him ‘Boy M,’ (probably the name Masaki earned after committing the crimes) and says that they should settle things once and for all.

6. About Kengan Omega.                

Kengan Ashura is a Japanese manga series written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon.                

It was serialized on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website from April 2012 to August 2018. A sequel, titled Kengan Omega, began in January 2019.
