About Kemono Jihen
Kemono Jinhen is an occult fantasy shonen manga by Sho Aimoto, popularly known for Hokenshitsu no Shinigami. The manga began serialization in Shueisha Jump Square from December 2016 with its 11th volume releasing today. The manga series announced an anime adaptation at the Jump Festa ’20 event on December 21, 2019 that recently announced its 2021 broadcasting decision.
The story is set in a world where human beings coexist with beings called kimono, who are supernatural monsters, spirits, and demons. But war breaks out between these two species. Al long time after the war, the story brings us to a remote village where dead animals mysteriously start appearing. This phenomenon brings a specialist from Tokyo named Kohachi Inugam to the village to identify its cause.
Inugami finds a young boy named Kabane who later turns out to be a half-ghoul, with a stone suppressing his true nature. As they get closer to the cause of this mysterious phenomenon, Inugami decides to employ Kabane at his detective office, dedicated to solving cases related to the supernatural.
