The official website for the anime adaptation of Aoi Akashiro and Sonsho Hangetsuban’s Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudō manga revealed the anime’s cast and staff. The anime is set to premiere sometime in 2023.
The lead protagonist of the anime, Yukito Urabe, will be played by Junya Enoki, and Akari Kito will play the role of the god Mitami.
Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudō focuses on the protagonist Yukito, who is the heir of a questionable cult’s leader. After an unfortunate death, he reincarnates in a world without the concepts of god and religion.
The anime is being directed by Yuki Inaba at Studio Palette, with Yoshifumi Sueda serving as supervisor. Manga writer Aoi Akashiro is handling the series composition. Kaori Yoshikawa is slated to be the character designer.
Akashiro and Hangetsuban originally launched their manga in Monthly Hero’s magazine in May 2019. The fifth compiled volume of the manga was published on April 27.
