#9 is looking at all this from someplace and is surprised that #8 didn’t show up. However, he claims all the pieces are on board. Suddenly, the water sewers break open in the Sumida ward, and a huge monster with 9.0 fortitude emerges.

Suddenly, a girl shows up in front of Shinomiya. The girl looks like a counterpart of the Kaijus. Some other giant kaijus appear in Tachikawa and Oizumi regions.

All the kaijus are eminent class. The four kaijus that appeared were Kaiju No. 11, Kaiju No. 12, Kaiju No. 13, and Kaiju No 14. The girl that appeared in front of Shinomiya was Kaiju, No. 15.

Their appearance marks the end of the prelude and the beginning of the eighth episode: The Second Wave.

Kaiju No. 8 or Monster #8 is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. It has been serialized for free on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ from July 2020.

In Japan, creatures are known as kaiju frequently attack the nation with the Japanese Defense Force in charge of dealing with and killing them.
