Now, only the Ozumi area is left. However, traffic congestion is slowing the process of evacuation, and to make things worse, the six colossal monsters are present in the same area. The area Shinonome’s and Tachibane’s platoons are in charge of the area.

Shinonome is thinking about a way to defeat these giant monsters when Kafka asks her to send him to the frontline, as he will find a way to take care of those monsters.

Shinonome declines by saying that Kafka is their ace and she will use him when it is time to fight #9. Suddenly, one of the colossal monsters’ internal temperature rises, and he fires a huge blast of fire at the city buildings.

Kafka worries about how they will deal with the monster when he hears a familiar voice. It is Mina. She tells Shinonome that she will handle it. Shinonome thinks it is impossible, as Mina is in Tachikawa now.

Suddenly one of the monsters is blown in half by a strong bullet. Shinonome is shocked to see that Mina is firing from twenty kilometers away. We see a huge weapon that is specially made for Mina, the Colossal Monster Railgun.

After reloading, she fires at another monster. Thus, she destroys two colossal monsters almost instantly. Everyone is shocked by the railgun’s sheer power and the might of their commander Mina Ashiro.

6. About Kaiju No.8

Kaiju No. 8 or Monster #8 is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. It has been serialized for free on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ from July 2020.

In Japan, creatures are known as kaiju frequently attack the nation with the Japanese Defense Force in charge of dealing with and killing them.

Childhood friends Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro vow to become members of the Defense Force after a kaiju destroys their home. Mina becomes a famous commander of the Force while Kafka fails the exam multiple times and becomes a monster sweeper, those in charge of cleaning up a monster’s dead body.
